CONCLUSIONS

Regarding to the above information the destination website of Rome (turismoroma.it) is undoubtedly the most complete one of the five and provides rich content to its visitors. It can become even greater with some additions in the events and attractions sections of the site .

Next with slightly differences in total come Milan’s (tourism.milan.it) , Florence’s (visitflorence.com) and Palermo’s (visitpalermo.it) which can be characterized as sites full of content, adequate to inform their visitors with basic issues however with a few upgrades, in different sectors each one, can become even better and more productive .They have to focus on upgrading the customer care options mostly.

Amongst the 5 destination websites ,Venice’s (visit-venice-italy.com) is the poorest, as it lacks in many fields and includes almost the half data of the total that a complete destination website should. Thus it needs major improvements in order to become more user-friendly and to provide better services .Their developers should focus on adding more website features , booking offers and give their visitors the ability to contact with them.
