E-BOX aims at implementing five pilot points in a major US city E-BOX has been present in the US through since 2002, dedicated to thinking about the most efficient solution for the deployment of automated delivery points. Now, from March 20th to 23rd, E-BOX is to bring to National Postal Forum (stand 973) Nashville, Tennessee its innovative project aiming at solving the “last mile” delivery burden. After the success of the « World Mail & Express » Triangle Miami conference last december, when its business model had been warmly welcome, E-BOX now follows-up with its plan as displayed in January 2005, aiming at negotiating key upward (manufacturing) and downward (operating) partnerships going to be necessary for the implementation of this strategy. In the case of the US market, within a narrow cooperation with the actors of the postal world, the goal is the coverage of major American cities with a thousand automated points in the five coming years. “National Postal Forum” is the main event of the postal industry for clients, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of technological solutions to USPS with prominent exhibitors such as Pitney Bowes, Siemens, Bowe Bell & Howell, Hewlett Packard and Neopost. Therefore, E-BOX presence is totally consistent with the announcement made during Post-Expo 2004 conference - « Fresh start for the last mile » - when Antoine Mercier, E-BOX Founder CEO, had publicly proposed such co-operation with National Postal Operators.
