How to access and read your articles

Start :1.Type the LBCC Library URL in the browser’s address box.2.When you get to the LBCC homepage, mouse over FIND.

Select Database by title3. Selecting Databases by title would bring you to a screen with a listing of available LBCC databases.

4. Find the database you need. If it is NOT in the list, try alphabetical listing. We need Gale Virtual Reference Library and since it is on this list, we click the entry.

The Log-in Screen shows before your selected database.

5. Log-in from this screen. Follow the directions given. Note: If you are outside the campus, you need to log-in. If you are on campus, there is no need to log-in you can go straight to the database you need.

6. Type your Search Term in the search box.

7. Press Enter after you type your search term.

8. Look for the items you need from the search results on the page. Click the article or book of your choice.
