Slip Seal Mechanisms in sponge iron industryMolykote® G-0103 Grease designed for Slip Seal Lubrication

1. Base oil viscosity VG 460 with calcium sulphonate thickener and high performance additives provides a sealing effect with very good film forming capacity and shear/mechanical stability.

2. Pumpable through centralized lubrication systems. No chocking of system mechanisms.

3. Service temperature of +180 degree C and drop point of 280 deg C minimum makes it ideal for high temperatures encountered in slip seals and extend relubrication interval.

4. Excellent load handling capacity (4 Ball Weld Load ASTM D2596 400 kg min) and very good extreme pressure resistance to minimize friction and wear.

5. Environmentally friendly calcium sulphonate thickeners allows reliable operation at high temperatures and avoid fumes emission.
