What happensDuring earth hour you can make the choice to switch off all electronics for an hour. It starts at 8:30pm ends at 9:30pm. You can use candles, torches, portable devices.
Why I Should Get Involved You should get involved because we want the world to pledge to use renewable energy.
What happens if we don’t participate
If we don’t participate our planet will suffer from global warming and will eventually die because the ozone layer will get destroyed which keeps the ultra violet rays out.
Renewable energy Some sources of renewable energy are solar power, geothermal and wind power.
Earth hour gone globalEarth hour is in many different countries. If it was only in one country it wouldn’t save as much energy. It is in lots of countries so it will save more energy.
About Earth hour is about saving energy and the ozone layer. It stops pollution, it makes energy bills go down instead of up.
