Objectives This course provides participants with basic knowledge of Rolls Royce Icon Dynamic Positioning (DP) equipment and to provide an insight into the principles and practice of operating Azipull propulsion units. Participants The course is designed for experienced DP Operators preparing to work with Rolls Royce Icon DP equipment and Azipull configured vessels. Content This course covers the following aspects of Rolls Royce Icon DP and the operation of Azipull’s: Familiarisation with the component parts of the Icon DP system. Familiarisation with Icon GUI and control systems. Understanding the Icon DP modes of control. Alarms and message handling. Icon Sensors and views. Consequence analysis. Operator manuals. Azipull manoeuvring theory. Benefits of Azipull vs Azimuth. Introduction to Helicon X3. Operational use of Azipull. Emergency controls. Practical exercises. Course participants will gain familiarisation with Rolls Royce Icon DP & Azipull equipment through class time and operational time through simulation on a full mission offshore support vessel bridge. Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements This unit requires the ability to read and interpret typical product specifications, job sheets, procedures, and safety information as provided to operators. Writing is required to the level of completing workplace forms. The course is delivered in English. Assessment & Competency Achievement There is no formal assessment carried out at the completion of the course. 100% attendance and participation in the course is required. Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Training on completion of the course. Course Duration 4 Days: Day 1 8:30am to 4:30pm

Day 2 8:30am to 4:30pm Day 3 8:30am to 4:30pm

Day 4 8:30am to 4:00pm

Number of Participants Minimum 2 participants Maximum 4 participants

Course Fee and Additional Service Costs $6,303.00 ($5,730.00 + GST) This course fee includes lunch, and morning and afternoon tea at the center.
