Dye it Wooden Floorboards Try it Dyeing wood or wooden articles. You will need Dylon Cold Water dye, Rubber Gloves paintbrush, wood sealer Method 1. Place fabric flat on covered surface. pinch up centre and twist into spiral.4. Secure shape with 2 elastic bands, forming 4 sections. Paint dye onto each section, pushing into fabric folds. For multi-coloured effect, apply different colour on each section. 5. Repeat process on reverse side. Place fabric in plastic bag seal and leave overnight.6. Remove elastic bands and rinse in cold water, until colour runs clear.7. Wash in normal way.

Fresh FlowersTry itDyeing live flowers e.g. Carnations, Irises or Roses.You will needDylon Cold water Dye (Select dark colour), rubber glovesMethod 1. Dissolve 1 tin dye in 500ml of warm water. Allow to cool.2. Remove leavers and trim flowers to desired length. Crush base of stem and place upright in dye solution.3. Flowers will change colour after approx. 2hours, depending on flower type to give an attractive streakeed effect on the leaves and petals. Some species may need to be left overnight.4. Rinse stem in cold water and transfer to vase.
