Decals are mailed to unincorporated county residents with property tax bill, usually in late summer. To purchase or replace a decal, contact the Durham County Tax office at 919-560-0300. HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE No items larger than 8 feet. BULKY WASTE Maresses, box springs, furniture, fencing, etc. Limited to 1 me per week. YARD WASTE No yard waste larger than 6” in diameter or 8’ in length will be accepted. Not available at Site 4 (Rougemont). LARGE APPLIANCES Dishwashers, dryers, ovens, washing machines, water heaters, and refrigerators. No small appliances. NO business and commercial waste. For addional restricons see site aendant. RECYCLEMORENC.ORG Durham County provides roadside collecon of recyclables for unincorporated residents every other week. Collecon during holiday weeks remains unchanged unless otherwise noted on the calendar. Each home is issued one free 18 gallon recycling bin. Addional bins are $8.00. To order a bin call 919- 560-0433. CONVENIENCE SITES WITH A SOLID WASTE DECAL
