Although small changes at individual level, these health interventions have the potential to impact the Learning Disability population significantly - wider impact on family members.
Most participants who complete the programme go on to maintain the lifestyle changes made (esp those with support).
Follow ups although good have highlighted the need for frequent refreshing of key messages to ensure sustainability.
Bespoke services seem to be the best with a combination of activity and exercise.
Evaluation has highlighted the need to re educate the carers to ensure client sustainability.
