dance music that originated in

South London, England.

Baltimore DJ Joe Nice, he helped start its spread into the continent.

Regular Dubstep club nights started appearing in cities such as; New

York, San Francisco, Seattle, Montreal, and Houston.

Dubstep came through experimental releases

of UK garage producers, who wanted to incorporate elements of drum

and bass into the South London-based 2-step garage sound.

folk culture. It then grew and spread into countries such as the U.S.,

Australia, Canada, Ireland, and Japan.

electronic music to a punch line. It moved from the UK’s underground

buzz through multiple DJs. The diffusion was contagious because the

music travelled rapidly.
