The “Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon” is famous for being extremely flat. This race is perfect for someone looking to beat their personal best. 10K and 4K races are also available during the event.

The “Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon” is the biggest race in Middle East. This event takes place in the winter; therefore it won’t be as hot as you may think. The temperature during the race is usually around 10/15 degrees Celsius. Note that this race takes place on a Friday, since Sunday is a working day in Emirates.

Moreover this marathon will take you through many historic landmarks of the city. During your 42.195K journey you will run through the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, and of course by the Palm Jumeirah.

More than running… There are thousands things to do in “the City of Gold”. Ever thought of skiing indoor? Yes it is possible in this city; you would have to go to the Mall of the Emirates for this attraction. The desert safari is also a fun activity to do in Dubai. And of course visiting the Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world) has to be on your bucket list!

Our Packages: We proudly offer guaranteed entries; however the number of spots is limited which makes them available on a first come first serve basis.

We are unfortunately not allowed to sell those entries alone. In order to secure your guaranteed entry to the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon you need to purchase one of our traveling packages.

“We offer breakfasts at our hotel”.

Our Hotel: We chose to stay at the Rotana Towers, located perfectly in the centre of the city, this 4 stars hotel is on Sheikh Zayed Road (you can compare this road to Broadway in NYC). In other words you are staying in the heart of Dubai, which is perfect for you to go out and explore the city.

A swimming pool is located on the fourth floor of the hotel. The establishment has a sauna as well as a massage center (perfect after the race).

The rooms are vast where you will find a locker for your belongings as well as free Wi-Fi.

Payments could be made via Visa, MasterCard, cheque or etransfer within 24 hours after completion of the form. You must read the booking terms and conditions and must agree. If you wish to discuss any aspect of the packages, please feel free to contact us.

Payment: At the date of registration the deposit must be payed (consisting of the amount of the guaranteed entry plus half of the cost of the package). The full amount is due 60 days prior the first day of the trip.

Booking accommodations: Run the Globe can customize your package if the dates provided in the brochure don’t work with your schedule. Airfare is not included in our packages.

Booking Changes: If you wish to change any of your booking once confirmed. An administration fee of $50 will be charged.

Prices: All prices in this brochure are correct as at July 2018 and are shown in Canadian dollars (Taxes included). Prices are subject to change at any time due to currency fluctuations and unless payment is received in full.

Unused Services: Refunds will not be provided if due to illness or personal choice you do not utilise part or your entire chosen package. It is advised to apply to insurance on your own. However in most cases your credit card would cover for this purchase.

Cancelation from the Organizer: Run The Globe association has the right to cancel the trip in case of insufficient number of participants. In this case the deposit and the amount of the entry would be reimbursed.

Hotel Credit: Credit card imprints will be required by hotels providing telephone, mini-bar, in-room movies, laundry and other facilities and services that can be charged to guest rooms. These will be required by the hotel at the time of check-in.

Services and Obligations: As a non-profit organization we supply our services consisting of arranging, booking, and co-ordinating travel facilities and services. The actual services and products are provided, supplied or performed by suppliers of travel, entertainment, and accommodation facilities or services (Suppliers).

We undertake to perform our services described in clause above with reasonable care and skill. We will not however be liable for any loss or damage which results from the act, default or omissions of any person other than ourselves, our volunteers or agents, or any cause independent of human control. This includes (but is not limited to) loss, or damage which arises directly or indirectly from act of God, weather disruptions, dangers incidental to the sea or air, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of Governments or other authorities de jure o de facto, wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, deaths, acts of terrorism, pilferage, pandemics, quarantines or medical or customs regulations.

We will endeavour to provide the most suitable travel arrangements to meet the particular requirements you make known to use. However, travel is an individual experience, and your preferences and opinions may vary from our own. For this reason, we cannot take responsibility for your individual satisfaction.
