However, to the physically handicapped persons, including the hearing or visually impaired, they can just envy the normal people for their carefree rides on bicycles, and cannot enjoy riding it at all. And the safety of bicycle ride by children or old people also makes people feel worry about it. Dual Riding and Driving Tricycle is a bicycle available for two people to ride together side by side. The bicycle body is composed of a primary bicycle and an auxiliary wheel, which are connected by a flexible quadrangular articulation mechanism. Slide 3 When a regular bicycle turns, by inclination of the drivers body and the bicycle body, the reversed moment can be created to reduce the centrifugal moment which may cause the bicycle to overturn outwards. As to Dual Riding and Driving Tricycle , it has the same motion form of a regular bicycle, and enables the parallel movement of two human bodies, primary bicycle and auxiliary wheel. Therefore, when it turns or moves on rough and uneven surface, it can still keep moving stably and at a limited inclination angle, but will not overturn. In addition to its strong structure, the bicycle body can be dismantled and assembled rapidly. Slide 4 Before Now Bicycle permitting operation by two people. Four rows of perpendicularly- arranged springs lined between the bars. Therefore, the bicycle can lean with the principal bicycle and auxiliary wheel paralleled within a limited range to prevent overturn. Springs are interlaced between ends of joint configuration, which can resist deformation and therefore maintain the stability of both principal bicycle and auxiliary wheel bodies. Utilizing quantity discrepancy of these four rows of springs and the location of hook holes to change pulling force and therefore make the auxiliary wheel post remain level when its motionless instead of leaning forward or backward. Slide 11 The auxiliary wheel body comprises two fixing bases, an active gear, a passive gear and an idler box, the auxiliary wheel further comprises a rung, the fixing bases are connected to both sides of the shaft of the auxiliary wheel, the active gear is a fixed gear, the passive gear is a movable gear, a small idler of the idler assembly engages with the active gear, a big idler of the idler assembly engages with the passive gear, the big idler drives the passive gear, and the passive gear drives the rung to rotate the auxiliary wheel. Slide 12 Joint Configurations Slide 13 Shaft Configuration Slide 14 Driving System Slide 15 The invented special bicycle for multiple persons to ride at the same time can be divided into two types. One of them is the tandem bicycle with seats in front-and-rear structure. The other type has seats in parallel structure. However, it cannot perform inclination action, implying that it cannot make speedy turns. When it runs on rough and uneven surface, it may even overturn. Dual Riding and Driving Tricycle has the merits of both types, which refer to the dexterity in the control of seats in front-and-rear structure as well as the friendship building and entertaining effects of seats in parallel structure, but has no defect of the two types. Slide 16 Springs are interlaced between ends of joint configuration, which can resist deformation and therefore maintain the stability of both principal and auxiliary bicycle bodies. Utilizing quantity discrepancy of these four rows of springs and the location of hook holes to change pulling force and therefore make the auxiliary seat post remain level when its motionless instead of leaning forward or backward. Slide 17 When this tricycle is turning, for instance, turning right, it shall be like that shown in the left exhibition. The principal and auxiliary bicycle bodies encounter height discrepancy or are operated on uneven ground. Slide 18 Advantages High driving safety Quickly to install Can be mounted on nearly all bikes Beside you instead of behind you Thank You! Thank You! Movie Button Movie Button
