and Electrical Mechanical works for theyear 2013-2014 for Mumbai, Pune,Nanded & Nagpur zones.

The Schedule of Rates for Civil Works and Electrical

Mechanical works for the year 2013-2014 for Mumbai. Pune. Nanded &

Nagpur Zones are now prepared & enclosed. The salient features of•

the Schedule of Rates are as below:-

I) The Schedule of Rates for civil works comprises of following

5 sections.

a) General.

b) Building.

c) Roads.

d) Water Supply.

e) Drainage.

II) The Electrical & Mechanical Schedule of rates contain

following sections:

a) Filter media.

b) Servicing of OCB, Motors & Relay.

c) Rewinding of motors

d) Point wiring and mains.

e) Miscellaneous.

f) Street Lights.

g) Sub-Stations.

h) Night Landing.

III) The rates communicated in the Schedule of Rates are for the

estimation purpose only and these rates do not give any

authority whatsoever to the engineers to purchase any

material from the market or to carry out any work at the rates

indicated in the Schedule of Rates without following the

rules, regulations & procedure laid down in the Manual.

IV) For the purchase of any material (Costing above Rs.50,0001-)

and for the work with estimated cost of RS.50,0001- (Rupees

Fifty Thousand only) or more, tenders must be invited by

publishing tender notice through press media.

V) While revision of DSR for Civil works, necessary

modifications in the wording of Items is made, compared to

the previous DSR, which shall be noted. The relevant

changes in the standard specifications of MIDC shall be

made while preparing DTP, till ERP is implemented upto

DTP stage.

VI) The Schedule of Rates will be in force for Mumbai, Pune,

Nanded & Nagpur zones with effect from the date of issue of

this circular.~1"'"
