DSE8620
The DSE8620 is an Auto Mains(Utility) Failure Control Modulesuitable for paralleling single gen-sets (diesel or gas) with the mains(utility) supply. The module willautomatically start the generator ondetection of a mains failure, and willcontrol the switchover from andback to the mains (utility) supply,offering an uninterrupted return.
The modules synchronisingfunctions include automaticsynchronising with built-insynchroscope and closing ontodead bus. Direct and flexibleoutputs from the module areprovided to allow connection to themost commonly used speedgovernors and automatic voltageregulators (AVRs).
A sophisticated module monitoringan extensive number of engineparameters, the DSE8620 willannunciate warnings, shutdownand engine status information onthe back-lit LCD screen, illuminatedLED, remote PC, audible alarm andvia SMS text alerts. The moduleincludes RS232 and RS485 portsas well as dedicated terminals forsystem expansion.
The DSE8620 is compatible withelectronic (CAN) and non-electronic(magnetic pick-up/alternatorsensing) engines and offers acomprehensive number of flexibleinputs, outputs and extensiveengine protections so the systemcan be easily adapted to meet themost demanding industryparalleling requirements.
The modules can be easilyconfigured using the DSEConfiguration Suite Software.Selected front panel editing is alsoavailable.
