    DRY P ACK GROUT

    NON-SHRINK STRUCTURAL

    GROUT

DRY PACK GROUT is a natural aggregate, highstrength, non-shrink material designed specificallyfor mixing and placing at a damp packconsistency. When mixed with a minimum of water,it can be placed into voids and spaces whereforming or containment of selfleveling grouts isnot possible or desirable.

PRIMARY APPLICATIONSl Structural baseplatesl Equipment and machineryl Anchor boltsl Precast elementsl Honeycombing

FEATURES / BENEFITSl Extremely cohesive at damp pack

consistencyl Contains no chloride based or corrosive

ingredientsl High compressive strengths for maximum

bearing capabilityl Non-shrink for long term support

SPECIFICATIONS / COMPLIANCESl Meets requirements CRD C-621, Corps of

    Engineers specification for Non-Shrink

Grout. (Note: The test method does notspecifically make provision for the testingof damp pack consistencies. The pro-cedures were modified to accommodate theplacement of damp pack grout into the testmold.)

l Meets the performance requirements ofASTM C 1107-89 standard specification forpackaged dry, hydraulic cement grout (non-shrinkable).

PACKAGING / YIELDDRY PACK GROUT is packaged in 25 kgs bags.

When mixed with 4 liter of water, this unit will yield.0.0135 m3of material.

DIRECTIONS FOR USEThe contractor and engineer are encouraged toconsult and review the CMCI Application

Instructions - Cementitious Grouting. Thedocument offers instructions detailing the generalinstallation of cement-based grout products.Note : If the contractor is not familiar with standardgrout placement techniques, a pre-job meeting issuggested to review the project details unique tothe particular job. Contact your local CMCIrepresentative for additional information. The information given here is offered in particularsupport to the mixing and placing of DRY PACKGROUT. This information should be used inconjunction with the Application Instructions guide

mentioned above.Mixing - Water content will vary depending ontemperature and relative humidity, but generallywill fall between 3.5 liter and 4 Liters per 25 kgs.Placement- Using a ramming device with a bluntend, pack the mixed grout into the void or spacewith sharp, quick blows. The use of hammers ormallets may also be helpful. Build up material untilthe space is full. Finish exposed edges as desired.Be careful during the packaging process not toknock critical plates out of alignment.Curing and Sealing- Proper curing proceduresare important to ensure the durability and quality

of the grout. Wet cure the grout for 24 hours. Then, cure the grout with a high solids curing compound, such as SUPER REZ-SEAL, SUPER FLOORCOAT or SUPER AQUA-CURE VOX as describedin the general grouting Application Instructionguide.

CLEAN-UPClean tools and equipment with water before thematerial hardens.

    PRECAUTIONS / LIMITATIONS

l Proper curing is requiredl Do not add admixtures or fluidifiers
