Bring the family. Stay the weekend!
Fall in the Annapolis Valley offers stunning scenery, fantastic farmer’s markets, and wonderful wine tours and tastings. Why not plan to bring the family and stay overnight in one of our terrific inns, B&Bs, or hotels?
On Saturday, while you and your colleagues take in the CE co-‐sponsored by Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry and the Annapolis Valley Dental Society (at Acadia University), your family can take in all that the Valley has to offer. At the end of the day, enjoy a meal at one of our award-‐winning restaurants, microbreweries or pubs.

Dr. John Laba
23 years ago the annual Dr. John Laba Memorial Dinner and CE tradition began as a way of honouring the memory of a beloved dental professional and colleague.
Dr. Laba established his practice in the Annapolis Valley after completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in 1983. He became an integral leader in all aspects of the community offering a level of patient care that was, by all accounts, superlative. He tragically died in 1989, but his legacy and influence on the greater dental community lives on.

Global” Last year, Dalhousie Faculty of Dentistry students Ben Lawlor and Heather Patry, along with 5 of their dental school peers, organized a trip to Guatemala where they worked with a non-‐profit group to provide limited dental care to the local people.
