Intuitive document preparationThe controller’s driver-based imposition capabilities allow users to create multiple types of booklets and include n-up routines.

Fiery SeeQuence Impose option For more advanced requirements, Fiery SeeQuence Impose enables fast, accurate booklet creation, repeat booklet layout on one sheet for maximum paper usage, n-up, and gang-up routines. Fiery SeeQuence Impose even enables the impositioning of variable data jobs and supports the creation of unlimited imposition templates. With this intuitive WYSIWYG solution, users can edit and assemble entire static or variable data documents before ripping for final output. If desired, Fiery SeeQuence Impose outputs a print-ready PDF file before printing. The PDF can be sent electronically to customers to shorten approval cycles, or archived for future printing on engines not equipped with in-RIP imposition.

SecurityThe controller provides a complete administrator toolset that covers all aspects of security, including IP filtering, port blocking, Secure Erase, user authentication (via LDAP support), secure printing, encryption of critical information and an optional removable hard disk drive. EFI WebTools implements Fiery System software and Microsoft XPe updates to ensure up-to-date protection.

For increased security, the standard Secure Erase functionality overwrites electronic data and latent file images multiple times, so these are completely removed from the Fiery hard drive.

Fiery security complies with industry-standard certification policies such as IP Sec, SSL v2/v3, and X509 certificate management. IP Security Protocol provides security to IP protocols through an encryption and authentication mechanism.
