The Dress Fabulous Project is an intricately designed nonprofit community organization that is based upon the

principal of creating a reciprocal environment that will enable and strengthen young women across the country. It is our

joy and community initiative to provide new & gently worn formal wear while employing our mantra of, “Reducing

Reusing & Recycling”

Our formal mission is to re-utilize, reduce, and recycle new and used formal gowns to benefit deserving high

school girls. Our mission also encompasses empowerment conferences and workshops designed to nurture the fabulous

from the inside out. We have a fabulous vision to expand our presence by partnering with vested constituents & School

Districts who will passionately execute the Dress Fabulous Mission, through the implementation of affiliate chapters &

alliances across the United States. We envision that our purpose will aid in cultivating the lives of thousands of young

girls across the country with the Dress Fabulous Project. Our intent is to incorporate the element of reciprocity that will

be represented throughout our chapters and transparent through the young women impacted by our mission.

Our team has been successful in providing formal wear and accessories for nine wonderful students; however on

March 31, 2012 the DFP Houston Chapter will unveil an unprecedented fabulous event designed to aid 1000 students

with the provision of formal attire and accessories free of charge that will serve their Prom & formal 2012 event needs.

Several of our student recipients selected for these treasures from the community are high need and under -serviced

youth, it’s our commission to not only provide formal wear but to engage the participants in mentorship elements;

including motivational speeches and workshops by some of the well -known leaders in the city. We envision that the

“Dress Fab Project Event 2012” will be a day capitalizing the inner and outer fabulous spirit that is embedded in every

young girl. This event will incorporate workshops, dress consulting & shopping, and complimentary lite bites to refuel

our students as they journey on a shopping spree custom designed for them. Each student is chosen through our

“Fabqualifing” procedural process which includes an application and essay; our process ensures that each gown is

utilized by a deserving student.

Although we have received an influx of dresses and applications, our applications currently outweigh The Dress

Fab Store’s merchandise stock. Therefore, our humanitarian effort to provide each student with a formal gown &

accessory; coupled with the cost of provisioning for essential student workshops our cause has lead us to petitioning

and incorporating the community with the hopes of gaining significant support that will be monumental in creating the

ultimate “Dress Fab Project 2012” event . Please view page five of this proposal as it highlights the current sponsor

opportunities, various ways that your participation can assist thousands of young women, and how you or your business

may benefit.

The Dress Fabulous Team is beyond appreciative for any aid that will assist us in this endeavor, and we thank
