    1 The Contractor shall obtain all applicable codes, licenses, standards, specifications, etc. which are necessary toperform the proposed work at no additional cost to the owner.

    2 Construction specifications have been issued with this project and must be used in conjunction with thesedrawings. Specifications take precedence over drawings if there is a discrepancy between them.

    3 The contractor shall maintain one copy of the current and approved construction plans, specifications, resourceconsent and building consent at the job site at all times.

    4 The contractor shall notify the Design Engineer immediately upon discovering any conflicts or other problems inconforming to the approved construction drawings, specifications or details for any element of the proposedimprovements prior to proceeding with its construction.

    5 Offsite and adjacent site data is for information purpose only.6 Levels are in terms of Moturiki 1953 origin of levels. SM SS 4 so 422723. RL 39.50. Sourced from LINZ geodetic

    database 01.12.17. Coordinates are in terms of Mount Eden 2000 origin of coordinates. SM SS so 422723698994.38 mN 445835.50 mE. Refer to Harrison Grierson Consultants Drawings 142930-SS01 Rev 1, SS02 Rev 4,SS03 Rev 1, SS04 Rev 1.

    7 Proposed site plan designed and provided to Holmes Consulting LP by Jasmax Architects.8 Contractor shall reference Waikato Regional Theatre Geotechnical Report by CMW Geosciences, dated 26 09 2018.

    9 Access to all adjacent properties and facilities shall be maintained at all times.10 If hazardous material or suspect material is encountered the contractor shall notify the Client, Project Manager,

    and Design Engineer before continuing work.11 All existing underground utility information (public and private) is indicative only and shown according to the best

    information available to the Design Engineer. The contractor shall contact all utility owners prior to beginningexcavation or site grading. It shall be the contractor's responsibility for locating and protecting all utilities duringconstruction and for coordinating with the appropriate utility company for any utility crossings required.

    12 The contractor shall be responsible for the coordination of the installation or relocation of all utilities above andbelow grade (water, wastewater, stormwater, street lights, gas, electric, telecommunications, etc.).

    13 Permission for any contractor or client proposed use, disturbance or access of offsite property, permanent ortemporary, shall be obtained by the contractor in advance of the work.

    14 The contractor shall provide written copy of any agreement or permit to use offsite property to the client prior toany use. The contractor shall not obligate the client to any stipulations unless the client becomes a party to theagreement.

    15 Property boundaries shall be clearly indicated in order to delineate allowable limits of construction. No offsitedisturbance allowed without adjacent property owner approval.

    16 Boundary lines and easements indicated hereon reflect information proved by Harrison Grierson. This plan may notinclude all information of record.

    17 All work located within the road reserve shall be in accordance with the latest edition of the Regional InfrastructureTechnical Specification (RITS) and Hmilton City Council standards.

    18 All site work to be in accordance with the New Zealand Building Code and all other relevant standards.19 All abandoned water, wastewater, and stormwater mains, manholes, stubs and accessories shall be abandoned per

    Council specifications.20 The contractor shall provide all required temporary traffic control in accordance with Council and NZTA standards.

    21 Contractor shall be responsible for temporary erosion and sediment control during construction.22 Contractor to check all set out dimensions and coordinate with the appropriate discipline.23 Exact locations of services to the building shall be coordinated with the building services engineer.24 Subsoil drains designed and documented by Jasmax as part of Theatre tanking details. Subsoil drains to be

    connected to the stormwater system via gravity connections, with minimum gradient of 1:200 or 0.5%.

    25 Retaining walls designed by others.26 Retaining wall elevations indicated are at the maximum wall height point of occurrence.27 This drawing set contains colour and if reproduced should be printed in colour only.28 All areas disturbed by construction and not paved at the completion of construction shall be reinstated to original

    conditions.29 Dimensions shown on plans are horizontal distances as measured from centre of manhole to centre of manhole or

    from centre of waterline fitting to centre of fitting. These may vary due to field conditions.30 Slope information provided for wastewater or stormwater pipe is calculated from centre of structure to centre of

    structure.31 Contractor shall terminate services 1.5 metres outside of building foundation unless otherwise noted.32 Existing water and wastewater service shutoffs shall be coordinated with existing customers and Council to

    minimize interruption of services.33 Existing asphalt pavement shall be straight saw cut when access to underground utilities is required and to adjoin

    new asphalt pavement. Tack coat shall be applied to all exposed surfaces, including saw cuts, potholes, trenchesand asphalt overlays. Refer to specification.

    34 Contactor shall adjust lid levels of all manholes, valve covers, and rodding eyes to finished grade.35 Existing water supply information has been obtained from Hamilton City Council City Waters GIS Viewer. The

    Contractor shall confirm depth and location of water supply infrastructure prior to works commencing.

    36 Water supply main in Victoria Street and Sapper Moore-Jones Place has been identified as an asbestos cement pipein HCC City Waters GIS. The Contractor shall observe all requirements regarding working around asbestos, includingusing the correct equipment and correct disposal technicques. Work involving asbestos should be carried out by aperson holding a certificate of competence and is controlled by the Health and Safety (Asbestos) Regulations 1998.

    37 Threshold drainage designed by Jasmax, refer Jasmax documentation for further information.

    38 Syphonic downpipe system designed by Ultraflow and documented by Ecubed, refer to Ecubed documentation forfurther information.

    39 In the event that during earthworks on site any archaeological features, artifacts or human remains are found, theHamilton City Councils Accidental Discovery Protocol as per the District Plan shall be complied with.

    40 Deep manholes to meet construction requirements of the RITS 5.2.7.3.41 Internal drop structures in wastewater manholes to be as per RITS standard drawing D5.1.42 For proposed works within Sapper Moore-Jones Place, refer to separate civil design package.43 Manholes to be fitted with proprietary in-fill lids with stainless steel frame, suitable for heavy traffic loading.
