Origami Stars Instructions 8. Pinch each point on the pentagon to create the points of the star! Write a wish or positive note on the white side of your strip of paper. 1. 2. Bring one end of the strip towards the middle and then down. Bring the end back up and over the strip to create a loop. 3. Feed the same end through the loop and make a loose knot. Gently pull and wiggle both ends to tighten the knot. The right side should be much longer than the left. 4. Fold the extra length of the right end back. You can cut it if it's very long. 5. Fold the longer end of the strip over the center of the pentagon shape, keeping the bottom edge of the strip in line with the bottom edge of the knot. 6. Wrap the strip around the knot, always keeping the bottom edges aligned. Repeat this until you create a pentagon. 7. Tuck the end of the strip into the pocket created. 9. If you'd like to hang up the star, use a needle and thread. Tie a knot at the end of your thread, and then poke the needle through the star and pull the thread through to the knot. Hang up at varying lengths!
