3rd of the Institutional Lecture Series at MEFGI, Rajkot, By
Dr. Waltraut Ritter, Managing Partner & Founding Director, Knowledge Dialogues, Hong Kong.
Faculty of Management, Marwadi Education Foundation’s Group of Institutions, has organized the 3rd Lecture of the “Institutional Lecture Series” in its Campus premises at Rajkot, on Saturday, 19th March 2011.
Dr. Waltraut Ritter, Managing Partner and Founding Director of Knowledge Dialogues, Hong Kong and associated with lot many Institutions across the Globe, particularly in Asia, Europe, Germany countries, has visit the Campus at the invitation extended by MEFGI. Dr. Ritter has been visiting several universities across the AsiaPacific regions and addressing the students on the Research Methodology and Managing Knowledge. She is a regular at Mysore University, Mysore, MDI, Gurgaon and many of the IIMs in India.
Dr. Ritter has presented several publications, attended several International Conferences and had several books to her credit. On her arrival at the Campus, Dr. S. Chinnam Reddy, Dean, Faculty of Management (MBA) showed her the integrated campus and a brief introductory meeting was arranged in the Vice Chairman, Shri Jitendra A. Chandarana’s office. After her introduction to the Vice Chairman, she was introduced to Dr. K.K. Khakhar, MemberAdvisory Board, Dr. V.R. Rathod, Dean, Faculty of Computer Applications (MCA); Dr. R.B. Jadeja, Dean, Faculty of Engineering; and Mr. George Varughese, Registrar.
In the prelunch session of the lectures, she has addressed the Students pursuing PGDM Program with an interactive session supported by power presentation on the topics of :
a) Qualitative Research including Search Methodology b) Collaborative Research Methods – Using WiKis in Classrooms, Social Media Research , etc.
The presentation was supported by a lot many case studies across the globe. The postlunch session – 3rd Lecture of the Institutional Lecture Series – on the topic “Conducive Environment for Breakthrough Innovations” – was attended by more than 200 students pursuing MBA and PGDM programs in the Campus. The interactive session, powered by a power point presentation on “Innovation & Knowledge Economy” and question answer session was very interesting as students The Lecture was followed by a lively interactive Session with the HODs, Faculty Members and Other Staff of the integrated campus – Faculty of Engineering (BE), Faculty of Computer Applications (MCA); Faculty of Management (MBA) and Faculty of Business Management (PGDM).
