Dr. Rowan Molnar – An Experienced Medical Doctor and Author
Dr Rowan Molnar is an experienced medical professional who has a Master’s of Science in
Health Professional Education (Simulation Major) from the MGH Institute of Health Professions
in Boston, USA, and a Certificate Advanced Teaching and Learning in Medical Education
(Simulation Focus) as well as his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS),
Medicine and a Fellowship in Anaesthesia from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is
a diligent professional who has worked with many experienced doctors, and has earned a solid
background in cardiac surgery, orthopaedic surgery, tumour, plastic and reconstructive surgery,
acute pain management, and anaesthesia.
Dr Rowan Molnar is skilled in dealing with all sorts of anaesthetics and surgery-related
operations. He has commenced various medical projects, earned certifications, and received
awards and recognitions. He is a medical researcher who has contributed greatly toward the
growth of the medical community. He has written many articles which have been published in
many international journals. He wrote the book, Creative Disruption in Medicine and Healthcare.
The book was published in March, 2016, and is about technological disruption, medical
practices and approaches, a topic that individuals, physicians, nurses, medical practitioners,
medical groups, and associations should know.
Dr Rowan Molnar is associated with a wide range of medical groups and associations. These
include Australian Society of Anaesthetists, Australian Medical Association, International
Society for Simulation in Healthcare, Society for Education in Anaesthesia, American Society
of Anaesthesiologists, Association for Study of Medical Education, Australian Institute of
Company Directors (AIDC), Harvard Club (since December 2013), MENSA (since January
1976), Lilydale Flying Club (since January 2012) and Tasmanian Aero Club (since June 2014).
Dr. Rowan Molnar has practised as the Teacher of Simulation in several esteemed positions
and took a management of anaesthesia crises course at St. Vincent’s Education Centre,
Anaesthesia Crisis Resource Management Course – at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He has also
been the ANZCA Simulation Course Instructor and Convenor – Annual Scientific Meeting 2007
Melbourne, and ANZCA Simulation Course Instructor and Convenor – Annual Scientific
Meeting 2011 Hong Kong.
