“SCHOOLING’’:ContestantsareexpectedtorunthedesignatedNRHApatternnumberassignedtoeachclasshowever deviations from the designated pattern are allowed in the above mentioned GWRHA “schooling”classes.Asacourtesytothejudges,contestantsintendingtoschooltheirhorsesintheGWRHA“schooling”classesshouldmaketheirintentiontoschoolobvioustothejudgeatthebeginningoftheirrun.Schoolingrunsshallnotexceedfourminutesofarenatime.

FUTURITY/DERBY/MATURITY:Futurityhorsesmaybeshowneitheronehandedortwohandedinanylegalbridle.DerbyandMaturityhorsesaretobeshownonehanded.AllFuturity/Derby/Maturityentriesmustenteruponelevel(e.g.Level1entriesmustalsoentertheLevel2class,Level2entriesmustalsoentertheLevel3class,Level3mustalsoentertheLevel4class).ADrawPartywillbeheldat10:00AM on the day of the classes (Wednesday for the NP Maturity; Friday and Saturday for the FuturityandDerbyclasses).TheOpenMaturityclassisrunconcurrentwiththeOpenclassesandwillbedrawnbytheshowsecretarythenightbefore.AdditionalFuturity/Derby/Maturityentries will continue to be accepted until the start of the of the classes however, once drawn, lateadditionswillbethefirsttoshow.

ADDT’L CLASS INFORMATION:Showentriesshouldbesubmittedtotheofficeby5:00PMontheeveningbeforeeachshowday(exceptforFuturity/Derby/NPMaturityclasses).Theofficewillclosefromapproximately5:00PM to 6:00PM each day to prepare the draws for the followingday.Weanticipatetheclassesandschedulewillbeposted at approximately 6:00PM on the evening before each showday(exceptforFuturity/Derby/NPMaturityclasses).Classentrieswillcontinuetobeaccepteduntilthestartoftheclasseshowever,oncedrawn,lateadditionswillbethefirsttoshow.NotethatNRHAregulationsprohibitrefundingofentryfeesoncedrawn.Thedrawscheduleforthemainarenawilltakeprecedenceoverthedrawscheduleintheoutdoorarena.Management,initssolediscretion,mayalterthedraworderintheoutdoorarenatoaccommodatetimingconflictsarising where a horse and/or rider is scheduled to show in both arenas.“Drag”periodsaretentativelyscheduledandmaybealteredfromtime-to-timeafterpostingasdeemedappropriate.Management reserves the right to alter the show, the arena and schedulesatanytimeascircumstancesmaydictateorasmaybedeemedappropriate.

OPEN ARENA RIDING SCHEDULE:Open riding in the indoor arena will be available from approximately 12:00 PM (noon) to approximately 10:00 PM on Saturday, October 7th and from 6:00 AM to approximately 10:00PM onSunday,October8th.Thearenawillreopenfrom6:00AMto7:00AMonMonday,October9thandperiodicallyduringpaidwarmups.Thenfollowingcompletionofpaidwarmups(about8:00 PM) on Monday, October 9th, we expect the arena will then remain open every evening followingeachday’sclassesthroughoutthedurationoftheshow.However,thearenawillclosefrom2:00AMto4:00AMeachdaytopreparethegroundforthefollowingday’sclasses.

LEADLINE CLASS:A special GWRHA “Pee Wee Reiner”/Leadline class for children aged 7 and under will be held onSaturdayfollowingtheyouthclasses(atapproximately1:00PM).Contestantsarerequestedto enter by 5:00PM on Friday and to submit a short story line in writing (clickhereforentryform).Ridersmustbeaccompaniedintheclassbyanadultwhowillleadthehorseandrideratawalk.No“reining”maneuverswillbeperformed.

AQHA RANCH VERSATILITY AND RANCH RIDINGNEW FOR 2017-InconjunctionwiththeIdahoQuarterHorseAssociation,GWRHAwillbe offering AQHA approved Ranch Versatility classes (Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, Ranch Reining, andConfirmation)onSaturday,October14thintheoutdoorcoveredarena.Enteroneorawholebunchofclasses.ThisshowispartoftheIQHA’sRanchVersatilityExtravaganza.TheIQHAoverallhighpointcircuitchampionwillwin$1,000.AQHARanchRidingclasseswillbeofferedonSunday,October15thintheoutdoorcoveredarena.OnbothdaystheseclassesarefurtherbrokendownintoOpen,Amateur,Youth,andCowboydivisions.Soyou’dreallyliketoshowthatappyofyours?Noworry,therewillalsobesomeconcurrentGWRHAjackpotclassesopentoallbreeds.Comehavesomefun;therewillbeprizesawardedintheOpen,Amateur,andYouthclasses.
