Career Objective

PhD graduate with research background in Inorganic Chemistry. Seeking to build on strong research skills gained through studies so far as a research associate in a leading research centre. Ambition is to eventually have broad-based academic career including teaching, research and management responsibilities.

Education

2011-2015 Ph.D (Inorganic Chemistry) GGSIP University, New Delhi

2005-2007 M.Sc (Inorganic Chemistry) Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi

2002-2005 B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry Gargi College, University of Delhi

*GATE qualified with 86.58 percentile.

Teaching Experience : 4.5 years

2007 to 2012 Lecturer in Chemistry BSAITM, Faridabad (MDU Rohtak)

Research Experience

Jan 2012 - October 2015 :

Worked as a Senior Research Fellow at Molecular Chemistry Laboratory, University School of Basic & Applied

Sciences, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India.

During research, gained extensive knowledge of experimental work related to synthesis of some novel lanthanide

complexes with nitrogen and oxygen donor ligands and with inorganic nanoparticles and their structural

characterization by elemental analysis, FT-IR, and powder X-ray diffraction spectroscopic technique, thermal

properties by thermogravimetric analysis (TG-DTA), optical properties by UV-Vis spectroscopy and

photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy and morphological studies by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and

transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The complexes were extensively studied for their optical properties and act

as promising light emitting devices.
