• Bree  is  a  fluent  speaker  of  Yolŋu-­‐matha.  She  works  primary  with  the  Gumatj  dialect,  though  is  also  familiar  with  Gupapuyŋu  and  Djambarpuyŋu.  She  has  a  demonstrated  ability  to  translate  and  transcribe  (Yolŋu-­‐matha  to  English  and  vice  versa)  in  various  forums,  including  the  production  of  subtitles  for  video.      

• She  is  the  author  of  an  established  Wordpress  web  blog,  Fieldnotes  and  Footnotes.  This  weblog  is  being  archived  by  the  National  Library  of  Australia  at  their  request.    

• Her  writing  has  been  published  by  a  number  of  non-­‐academic  institutions,  including  the  Australian  Broadcasting  Corporation  (ABC).  

 • Bree  was  invited  to  join  the  editorial  team  of  HAU:  Journal  of  Ethnographic  

Theory  at  its  inception.  Her  editing  and  scholarly  skills  have  thus  featured  in  one  of  the  most  exciting  and  prominent  open  access  anthropology  journals  to  date.
