Medical check-up Camps, nomination of the Student’s Council

Members, Self-employment generation through handicraft exhibition,

personality development workshop, ‘Swayamsidha training camps,

Global Warming Awareness program, annual gathering etc. are the

few that lead the College a step ahead in the realization of its goals

and objectives.

The College has adopted a village called Tarsod about 04 kms to the

East of Jalgaon. Following activities were conducted during the year

under report – A tree plantation drive was undertaken on August 25

effects of water and sound pollution was held on Sept. 10, 2011 in the

village on the eve of the Ganesh Festival.

To help the students to build and develop their personalities as the future

citizens of India, the College encourages them to participate different community

services which aim at creating awareness about social problems and issues and

strengthening the society to fight with them.

The Extension Activities Committee has been framed to serve the

community better. It has organized various awareness creation programs

like distribution of Health Awareness Booklets, organization of lectures on

issues like tobacco eating, disaster management etc. street play on freedom

from addiction; rally to eradicate superstitions. These activities were taken

up in the adopted village named ‘Jalgaon Khurd’.

Some of the major community services extended by the College are

listed below -

A tree plantation Drive was undertaken on 13th Aug. 2011, near the Lokmat

Bhawan, Jalgaon and on 25th August 2011 in the Tarsod Village.

Educational tours / industrial visits were conducted by Dept. of Chemistry,

The College has implemented many schemes & programs which help

which has brought this sea-change. But it has a long history of women’s

sufferings & tolerance. It is an ‘evolution and not revolution’ that Indian

womanhood has brought in. this theme of the Rally attracted the public, only

to awaken them to fight against social evils like dowry, woman foeticide,
