E. Administrative Duties

2016-2017 Early Career Researcher Representative for the

Hertfordshire Business School and Member of the

University of Hertfordshire Researcher Development

Working Group

2014-2017 Program Director (Director of Studies) for the dual

award MSc Global Business (International Business School

Alliance)

The IBSA Dual Degree Master's Program is a distinct initiative that uses a three-

pronged approach: 2 countries + 2 degrees + 1 year = a prepared IBSA graduate with

dual master’s degrees. This one-year, full-time, tuition-based dual master’s degree

plan has three main elements. The first semester begins with a core set of identical

class modules that are taught at all 6 universities in a host of global settings. The

second semester follows in a different partner university of the students’ choice, based

on their preference for specialization area.

In this role, I provide a link between students, administrators, and the Examinations

boards. I am responsible for the dual award MSc Global Business program of study,

reporting to the Associate Dean (Programmes), whilst being ultimately responsible to

the Head of Department for all duties including the administration of the Program.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

• Write/audit Annual Monitoring and Evaluation reports

• Liaise with International and UK Admissions

• Develop strategy of the program

• Periodic review

• Attend the annual IBSA program tutors meeting held annually at one of the

partners

• Liaise with Partner institutions and ensuring consistency of delivery and

assessment of the program

• Ensure compliance with AQO requirements for such collaborative program

• Develop the marketing strategy of the program

• Arrange for the support of students and, where appropriate, counselling

students individually, particularly with regard to academic progress, whether

they are in the UK or abroad
