Embassy of India Guatemala City ¨Dr. Alejandro Giammattei, President Elect of Guatemala, inaugurates the Bust of Mahatma Gandhi¨ On the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, President Elect of Guatemala Dr. Alejandro Giammattei visited the Embassy of India in Guatemala City on 2nd October 2019 and inaugurated the Bust of Mahatma Gandhi. Ambassador of India also presented a copy of the Autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi to Dr. Giammattei. The Bust of Mahatma Gandhi was sculptured by Mr. Julio Gallardo from Chiquimula, Guatemala. Dr. Giammattei was accompanied by the Foreign Minister elect Mr. Pedro Borlo and other officials. Dr. Giammattei held discussions with the Ambassador on promoting India-Guatemala bilateral relations. Ambassador also presented the congratulatory message from President of India to Dr. Giammattei on his election victory.

En ocasión del 150 Aniversario del Natalicio de Mahatma Gandhi, el Presidente Electo de Guatemala, Dr. Alejandro Giammattei, visitó la Embajada de la India en Ciudad de Guatemala el 2 de octubre e inauguró el Busto de Mahatma Gandhi. El Embajador de la India también presentó al Dr. Giammattei una copia de la Autobiografía de Mahatma Gandhi.
