After victory over the Medes, Lydians and Babylonian, Cyrus the Great founded Achaemenid Kingdom. His successors, Cambyses and then Darius the Great extended his territories from Send River in the East to Mediterranean Sea and Nile River in the West. To administrate this Great Empire correctly, Darius the Great divided this Empire to various satrapies which their name has been reflected in Bistoun Inscription. In this paper, it has been tried, based on Bistoun Inscription and its comparison with other Achaemenid Inscriptions and other sources such as Greeks and Hebrew Texts and Archaeological materials and Linguistics data to establish the Achaemenid Satrapies boundaries.
