shaped and run from the front of the seat to the back. Springs are

supported by additional wires that cross from side to side combining for

a very strong, long lasting comfortable seat.

ers, and 30% duck Down. This blend is encased in a non-woven ticking. The backs are channeled to maintain

FRAME: Precision cut and fitted from high Grade Maple solids. Engineered for maximum strength and durability.

Reinforced with hardwood corner blocks and glued in place.

COM / Fabric: No additional charge. The amount of fabric required to upholster will be supplied with a

knowledge of the design of the fabric being used. When fabric has a ‘repeat’ this figure will be required in order to give the customer the amount of fabric needed. Once a COM fabric is inspected and accepted, Sarreid assumes no responsibilities for its overall performance, flammability, durability, color fastness, or any other quality issues after upholstered on a Downtown Studio product.

Velvets and certain types of textured fabric have a nap which make them “directional” fabrics. Even though they may be plain, these fabrics must be applied up-the-roll rather than railroaded, which will require 10% more yardage than our standard COM requirement.

*Sarreid reserves the right to refuse any material not suitable for upholstery submitted for use as COM (Customer’s Own Material).

COL / Leather: Leather is difficult to figure, as each hide is shaped differently and it depends on the shape of

the pattern that’s being cut in determining how many square feet will be needed. Also, often there’s waste due

to imperfections that must be cut around. *To convert a COM requirement to a COL requirement, simply multiply

the yardage required by 18. If a chair requires 6 yards of COM, it will require 108 square feet of leather. (Leather is

a natural product with irregularities mentioned; this conversion method takes that into account.) You will need to

inquire with your leather vendor to determine the average hide size (often between 40-55 square feet) so that

you can determine how many hides you will need to order. This calculation is an estimate of what should be

needed but it can and often varies. *One special note, because our standard pricing is COM, there is an up-

charge to upholster our furniture in leather. This up-charge is 30% above our COM / fabric price. Please contact

us to verify COL pricing.

WARENTY: Frames/Springs/Seat Cores: Sarreid guarantees frames, springs, and seat cushion cores for the

life of the product. Sarreid does not guarantee, and will not assume responsibility for color fastness or the wearing qualities of any fabric. Downtown Studio fabric specifications are available when ordering for typical wear

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

UPHOLSTERY (S): Arles, Caitlin, Zuma / PILLOW: Granata, Siena, Tess, Westminster, Cook, Flax Stripe, Lola Diamond,

Lola Houndstooth, Fur, Ikat, Mammoth, Mongolian: Spot clean only with a water-free dry cleaning solvent. Pretest

a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding. Do not saturate. DO NOT USE WATER. Pile fabrics may require

brushing with a non-metallic, stiff bristle brush to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed for

dry-cleaning. To prevent overall soiling, frequent vacuuming or light brushing with a non-metallic, stiff bristle brush

to remove dust and grime is recommended. When cleaning a spill, blot immediately to remove spilled material.

Clean spots or stains from the outside to the middle of the affected area to prevent circling. Overall cleaning by

a professional furniture cleaning service is recommended.

UPHOLSTERY (SW): Whitney, Spot clean with upholstery shampoo, foam from a mild detergent, or mild dry clean-

ing solvent. Pretest a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding. Do not saturate. Pile fabrics may require

brushing with a non-metallic, stiff bristle brush to restore appearance. Hot water extraction or steam cleaning is

not a recommended cleaning method. Cushion casings should not be removed for laundering or dry-cleaning.

RAF & LAF Chair, Chaise and Sofa Sections: The term RAF refers to Right Arm Facing

when talking about a sectional modular piece. The term LAF refers to Left Arm Facing. Most sectional pieces have 1 arm since they connect to another piece of furniture at the other end. So the key thing to remember is that the side with the arm on it, when you are facing the item, determines whether it is LAF or RAF.

life of the product. Sarreid does not guarantee, and will not assume responsibility for color fastness or the wearing qualities of any fabric. This warranty applies under conditions of normal residential use and does not apply to damage incurred as a result of negligence or misuse. This includes improper cleaning, exposure to chemicals and foreign substances, liquids, accidents, or for any use which the product was not intended. Downtown Studio fab-ric specifications are available upon request at the time orders are placed. TRANSPORTATION AND DELIVERY DAMAGE IS EXCLUDED.
