Facilities Manager
Rinconada Hills is a gated community with 434 homes on 107 acres containing eleven swimming pools,
three tennis courts, three ponds, a lake and a clubhouse facility. I manage all aspects of the maintenance
and improvements of the community.
With a total staff of 11, keep the grounds in excellent shape including the landscaping,
swimming pools, walking paths and streets
Deal with outside contractors for street repairs, installation of new roofs, common building
maintenance and other projects
Work with the county Fire & Hazmat Departments, County and City Health Organizations and
other agencies to insure that we comply with all codes and have required safety equipment on
hand
Attend the Homeowner’s Board meetings and provide them with the status of spending versus
budget, progress of ongoing projects and potential issues that may need to be addressed
My work requires me to actively manage several projects at the same time along with insuring
that regular maintenance tasks are being performed to the highest standard. The majority of my
time is spent out in the community dealing with residents, employees and contractors.
United States Air Force 1986-1992
Crew Chief/Flight Mechanic
I enlisted in the United States Air Force for two tours, totaling six years. During this time I was promoted
to E-4, Sergeant. I was stationed in San Bernardino and Frankfurt Germany. I was a Crew Chief with the
55th Medical Evacuation Squadron responsible for maintenance and servicing of my aircraft. I have
fifteen hundred flying hours in a DC-9 flying all over Europe and North Africa. I took part in Desert Storm
evacuating spouses and children out of Turkey prior to the start of the war.
Fed Ex Frankfurt Rhein Main 1989-1990
Flight Line Mechanic
I worked for Fed Ex as a flight line mechanic doing ground support on DC-10’s and 747’s on a part-time
basis. I helped to create aircraft status checks and regular turn around maintenance. I had to leave Fed
Ex to support my obligation for the Air force in Desert Storm.

I worked as an apprentice carpenter for two years after high school while I attended West Valley Junior
College
