2. 2. Q Double Page Spread This is a double page spread from Q magazine with Lady Gaga. This page is maintaining the red colour scheme which Q has going on all the way through the whole of the magazine. I am going to keep the same colour scheme throughout all of my pages of my magazine. This double page spread has one side which is a mid shot black and white photo and then on the other side is the article.
3. 3. NME Double Page Spread This is a double page spread from NME magazine with Lily Allen. The white background is common among double page spreads as this makes the image and text stand out more to the reader, and NME have done this here. The layout of the double page spread is also very effective as the reader is not flabbergasted by lots of text or bright colours it is a very simple design.
4. 4. Kerrang Double Page Spread This is a double page spread from Kerrang magazine with Teen Spirit. The text for this double page spread is set out so that most people can easily understand the text. The shot of the band is a long shot which shows them in a room kicking someone dressed as a rabbit, this will make the audience want to read on to see what is happening. The colours of black and red and white can show darkness and how they are having problems that they had to overcome but the white colour in the background can show a chance of hope, a side of good.
