Doreen Virtue is a clairvoyant and Doctor of Psychology whoworks with the angelic and elemental realms.

 

Q1. Doreen, you are known as a person who works directly with Angels to gaininsight and inspiration to help us in our lives. If you can put it into words, what is the

energy of an angel like and how would you describe them in terms of their personalitywhen they interact with you?

A. If you asked 1 people who there angels were, ! of them would say they were

deceased loved ones, and the other ! would say their angels were winged beings.

In my workshops, I conduct mediumship "similar to #ohn $dwards and #ames %on

&raugh' and also angel readings. (hat means, that I tell people who their angels andspirit guides are, and deliver any messages from them. (he departed loved ones are

very sweet people, nothing frightening or gorey like depicted in )ollywood movies.(heir personalities are similar to when the person was living.

If someone was spiritual, optimistic, or caring while living, that*s how they comeacross in a reading. If they were mischievous, then they tend to make a lot of +okes

during the session. During my riday evening seminar, I*ll also help people who worry

how their departed loved one is doing. -any people worry if their deceased loved oneis sad or alone in heaven, and these sessions help to relieve the living*s worries.

Q. /hen did you have first contact with an angel, and how did you know it was an

angel and not some other entity disguised as one?

A. I was born a psychic medium, although I didn*t reali0e it until much later, becauseI couldn*t tell which people I was seeing were dead and which were alive. (hey alllooked 2D and solid to me. (oday, the deceased look more wispy than the living

world, so I am able to distinguish the two. I*ve always seen the bright lights of theangels, and I know that lower2entities can*t disguise this light, because it only comes

from the 3ove of 4od. (hey could dress up in an angel costume, but they couldn*tmimic the Divine light or the loving messages of true angels.

Q. 5ome people believe #esus* words in the 6ible are the only divine source ofguidance 22 not angels. /hat do the angels say in response to such a belief?

A. /hen I use the term, 7angel,7 I*m using is as an umbrella term to describe anyonewho helps us, and that definitely includes #esus. I work with him very closely, and

follow his guidance carefully. )owever, I*m very clear that my mission isn*t to 7push7#esus onto other people, but to live according to his e8ample as best as I can. In my

workshops, I teach people to learn how to better hear the voice of )eaven. or somepeople, that means that they*ll have more clear interactions with #esus. or others, it

means that they*ll be better able to hear the voice of 4od, their guardian angel,departed loved one, an ascended master, or all of the above. &eople come to my

workshops to learn how to clear the static off the line, so that they can see, hear,

feel, and know their spiritual helpers.

Angels are non2denominational, and that*s one reason why I love working with them,

and teaching about them. 9o one holds wars over angels: All religions, eastern and

western, ancient and modern, have archetypes of benevolent spiritual helpers. (heymay use terms other than, 7angels7 to describe them, but it*s clear from theirdescriptions that we*re all talking about the same thing.

Q;. <ou will be returning to the (win =ities for two days, April 1>2, at nity =hurch4olden %alley to present 7-essages from <our Angels.7 /hat does it really take for an

average person to get such messages on their own, and to what e8tent is yourmission about helping people to do +ust that?

A. @n riday night, I*ll walk through the audience giving as many readings as possible

to random audience members. I*ll also interweave, between the readings, a general

discussion of life2after2death, heaven, and angels. I*ll also answer uestions, ofcourse. @n 5aturday, I*ll be teaching audience members how ()$< can access these

same sort of messages on their own, without a psychic or other intermediary.

After my life was saved by an angel during a car2+acking in 1>>!, I asked 4od how I

could repay him for sending an angel to save my life. I was told, 7(each as manypeople as possible, as uickly as possible, how to hear their angels.7 (he very ne8t

day, I embarked on this mission. 5ince then, I*ve traveled nearly non2stop around theglobe, teaching tens of thousands of adults and children of all backgrounds.

I help people to clear the fears and doubts that block our spiritual hearing and vision.I think that my training in psychology "I hold doctoral, masters, and bachelor degrees

in psychology' helps me to identify and clear away these fears. $very weekend, overseventy percent of the audience tells me that they e8perience clairvoyance during my

workshops 2 meaning that they*ve been able to see an angel, departed loved one,aura, or some visual symbol in their mind*s eye. I constantly hear from audiencemembers, 7(his workshop changed my life,7 because it teaches them how spiritually

powerful they truly are.

Q!. /hy should someone make a specific effort to connect with their angels?

A. I feel that it is vital that we all re2open our spiritual gifts and open up to the voice

of the Divine. It is the 7emergency broadcast system7 that keeps us safe andprotected. After my car+acking, I knew that in times of danger, 4od always sends

angels. )owever, I learned first2hand that it was up to me to listen to the angels*warnings. (hey tried to help me, but if I hadn*t listened, they couldn*t have helped

me. (he world is changing so rapidly, and many people are paraly0ed with fear andan8iety about the future. (he angels can guide us through these changes, and give us

solid guidance that we can trust. (hey also help us to stay calm during crises, andheal away negative situations, while e8tracting the lessons contained therein.

QB. /hat*s the difference between angels and spirit guides and how does

theinformation given by each compare?

A. (he departed loved ones give 7down to earth7 advice, such as whether to return tonight schoolC selling their houseC their love lifeC health concerns, and such. <ou might

say that our departed loved ones function like 7micro2managers7 when helping us.@ur guardian angels are 7macro2managers,7 who help us with more global and

spiritual concerns, such as our life*s purpose, releasing fears and doubts, andavoiding the ego*s traps. It*s +ust as easy to hear the voice of 4od and the other

higher2ups, as it is to hear the voice of dear old ncle red. or important life issues,you*ll want to contact 4od, #esus, or some other pure soul. 6ut there*s nothing wrong

with contacting ncle red to say, 7)ello, I love you and am thinking of you:7 or toask him about his secret for clearing 1>! =hevy carburetors.

Q. 4ive us a picture of what someone will e8perience at your event in the (win=ities.

A.(he workshops are fun and inspiring e8periences. or one thing, you*re surrounded

by audience members who are like2minded. -any of them have had angele8periences or recent losses, and I love when audience members create a community

of support and encouragement for each other. @n riday night, I walk through the

audience with a wireless microphone, so that I can give as many readings aspossible.

sually, the departed loved ones will call me over to their living loved one, and askme to deliver specific messages. 5o, I*ll follow their lead. (he angels and ascended

masters come through to let the person know that their prayers have been heard,and are being answered. 5aturday morning begins with a wonderful concert with the

incredible band, 7Angel $arth,7 who is touring with me. (hen, I give a generaloverview of the most common fears and doubts that block our Divine guidance and

intuition. I firmly believe that all of us possess spiritual gifts that allow us to see andhear angels, if we*ll only give up these fears. (hen, after the morning break, the

audience members en+oy a deep, clearing meditation with the angels accompanied bybeautiful music.

(hey conduct angel readings on each other, learning how to do mediumship, see andinterpret aura colors "which reveal our life purpose and general emotional state', and

to see and hear the voices of angels. (hey might see these angels in their mind*s eye,

as whispy fragments, or as full2color, three2dimensional visions 2 everyone isdifferent. 6ut the point is that these angel readings help audience members to get

corroboration that validates their spiritual visions as being real, instead of imaginary.

At the end of the day, we hold uestion and answer sessions. And graduates of myAngel (herapy &ractitioner course are on2hand to provide personal counseling or

encouragement for audience members.

Q E. or those who plan to see you in April, what advance homework would you give

if they would like to prepare in advance for what you will be teaching them?

A. 9o homework or preparation is needed for riday night 2 +ust come as you are, and

be prepared for some powerful and very pleasant e8periences. I am not out toconvert or convince anyone about life2after2death or angels. I think that only

e8periences can create our beliefs. 5o, my only goal is to create e8periences where

people can make up their own minds about what they believe.

@n 5aturday, we ask that you dress in layers, as the room temperature fluctuates due

to the influ8 of angels in and out of the room. Also, it*s great to bring a pillow and

blanket, so that you can lie down during the morning meditation. 5omeone oncecommented that my meditations look like slumber parties 2 people don*t fall asleep,but the angels do take them to a very deep place in the unconscious, where healing

can occur.

Q>. I understand you will be +oined by some special musical guests, the international

group Angel$arth. Describe why you chose to have them accompany you and whateffect does their music have on you?

A. I*ll tell you, 4od is so good to me: Angel $arth is one of the greatest bands I*ve

ever had the privilege of knowing, hearing, and working with: (he band consists of

-ichael /ise on guitar and lead vocals, his son 5ean on bass and vocals, and -ark/atson on keyboards. (hey travel all over the .5. and =anada with me, and

audiences are wowed by their talent and music skills: $very weekend, their musicsounds better than ever: &eople keep telling me, 7/hen I first heard them, I thought

they were lip2sinking to a =.D., because their sound is so rich, I couldn*t imagine itwas live music.7 (he band plays original and cover soft rock before and after the

workshops. And -ark /atson plays the most ama0ing meditative piano music duringthe angel meditations. )is music +ust takes people away from ordinary consciousness:

Q1. @ur featured topic this month is on death and dying. /hat special message dothe angels have for our readers at this time on how to cope with the fear of dying or

the loss of a loved one or pet? -ediumship is the fastest route to healing from griefthat I*ve found. I used to practice traditional grief counseling, but I*ve given it up in

favor of mediumship and angel therapy.

-ost grief comes from the living person being worried about their departed lovedone. (hey worry, 7Is my loved one happy? Are they in heaven? Are they angry with

me? =ould I have prevented the death? /as I there for them enough? Are they alonein heaven?7 and so forth. @f course, they miss the physical presence of their departed

loved one, but the large share of grief are these worries. (hrough mediumship, you

get rapid answers to these uestions. <ou begin to understand that there*s no suchthing as death. @nly the body dies. (he soul and personality live on. 9ot only that,

but the soul is usually much happier in heaven. If they didn*t finish their life*spurpose, they*ll often act as 7spirit guide7 to the living person, to vicariously fulfill

their mission through that living person. (here are many ways to conductmediumship, and we*ll be going through them thoroughly during the 5aturday

workshop. 5ome of the methods include seeing a medium such as myself at aworkshop, seeing a medium privately, writing a letter to a departed loved one,

holding silent conversations with the loved one, or asking the loved one to visit you inyour dreams.

6ut most of all, remember to tell your loved ones, living or deceased, that you lovethem. /e can*t say those words too often:
