Data obtained by COATfrom the “Government ContractsUSA Defense Department” data-base, show that between 1999 and2009, Eaton and subsidiaries re-ceived 130 contracts worthUS$17.9 million to supply hard-ware for the first three of theseweapons systems.

For instance, Eaton’s F-15contracts, worth US$4.3 million, included weapon system hard-ware, valves, motors, wheel andbrake systems, instruments, en-gines parts, and fuel systems.

Eaton’s contracts for F-16s, worth US$8.2 million, in-cluded weapon system hardware, landing gear parts, valves, tubes, pumps, batteries, motors andpower transmission equipment.

Eaton had US$5.4 millionin contracts for AH-64s, includ-ing switches, valves, fittings, cir-cuit breakers, wheel and brakesystems, ground-servicing equip-ment, airframe structures and fuelsystems.

Eaton says it is “a key sup-plier of hydraulic systems, fuelsystems, fluid conveyance, elec-tromechanical actuation, powerand load management and avion-ics products on the UH-60.” TheUS has transferred UH-60s to Is-rael’s Air Force.

Eaton is also a “key sys-tems supplier” for the F-35 “JointStrike Fighter” which Israel hason order from Lockheed Martin.(See table “CPP Investments,”p.53.) Eaton makes 40 hydraulic, fuel, actuation and control sys-tems for the F-35, and says these con-tracts total US$358 million per year.
