1. General characteristics1.1. General

• Due to an integrated spring system, the Horizon door handle always returns to its original starting position, even with frequent use.

• The door handle with built-in click system enables rotating over 360° in 4 steps of 90°.

• The door handles are non-handed, except for the fixed door handles and door pulls.

• All door handles for doors (but also for sliding doors and lift-slide doors) are available without cylinder hole.

• The square spindle ( 8 mm) in steel zinc plated must be ordered separately.

• Explanation codes: - B = door handle B-type (B-type = handle with smaller depth) - C = without cylinder hole - L = on a long backplate - VI = with concealed fixing

1.2. Standard Horizon door handlesGeneral

• The door handle is available with visible fixing or with blind fixing (VI). Due to the aluminium cover the fixing screws are always concealed. The VI version has the advantage that the two handles can be screwed to each other.

• Materials: - door handle: aluminium - long backplate: zinc alloy - cover: aluminium - finish: anodised or polyester powder coated in more than 450 RAL colours.

Horizon series 26 mm• The width of the cover is 26.5 mm. The distance (A) between

the centre of the door handle and the top fixing screw of the door handles on a long backplate can either be 21.5 mm or 46 mm.

• It is also possible to use the Horizon door handles 26 mm for sliding doors in combination with Pentalock.

• The Horizon door handle n° 82000L meet the European Standard EN1906:2012 and obtained the following classification code:

Horizon series 36 mm• The width of the cover is 36 mm. The distance between the centre of the

door handle and the top fixing screw of the door handles on a long backplate is 75.5 mm.

1.3. Horizon Security door handles• The Horizon Security door handles are high security handles with a long backplate

in solid aluminium which makes the cylinder practically unreachable and the long backplate hard to break.

• Two stars are awarded to the Horizon Security external door handles by the SKG. These door handles are provided with blind fixing holes (VI version).

• The concealed fixing holes are suitable for screws M6. The fixing holes on the internal side are visible.

• Carefully selected, high-quality materials: - door handle: aluminium - long backplate: aluminium - finish:

- anodised in natural aluminium colour and in various bronze shades

- polyester powder coated in more than 450 RAL colours• The Horizon Security door handles have a high corrosion

resistance grade 5 (480h) in accordance with the European standard EN1670.

• The Horizon Security door handles meet the European standard EN1906:2012 and obtained the following classification code:

5. Horizon door handle n° 82500(C)L (VI)General characteristics

• Door handle on long backplate with the same appearance as the door handle for panic exit locks. The difference is that the door handles are with square spindle of 8x8 mm (to be ordered separately).

• A spring mechanism guarantees that the grip is perfectly horizontal when not operated.• The external door handle is provided with blind fixing holes (VI) M6 and is fixed through the lock to

the internal door handle in order to obtain a more solid fixation. The positioning bosses ensure a quick assembly of the external door handle.

• The VI door handle is also available without cylinder hole (C).• Door handle and long backplate in aluminium, anodised

or polyester powder coated in more than 450 RAL colours.• The door handles are non-handed.
