PMC Group – History1957 Foundation of CA Verken – the embryo of the present-day PMC Group.

1976 Company acquired by Persöner in Ystad.

1979 AB Wilhelm Sonesson buys Persöner, deleting it from the stock exchange list and incorporating CA Verken in its Trade and Process Division.

1981 Division stock-exchange listed under name of Dacke Invest AB. The company acquires a number of Swedish companies in subsequent years.

2003 Dacke Hydraulik changes its name to Hexagon Automation.

1991 Dacke Hydraulik AB founded. Industrivärden acquires the company and de-lists it from the stock exchange.

1993 Hexagon acquires Dacke Hydraulik, which continues to acquire Nordic companies.

2000 Dacke Hydraulik acquires Berendsen’s Industrial Division in the Nordic Region. The company acquires additional Nordic companies.

2010 PMC Hydraulics Inc. established in USA Colorado. PMC Qatar established in Doha.

2005 Segulah III, L.P. acquires Hexagon Automation and changes its name to Dacke PMC AB. Further Nordic company acquisitions are made.

PMC Qingdao established in China.

2009 Dacke PMC AB changes its name to PMC Group AB.

2011 PMC Winstar established in Bangalore India. 2011 PMC Hydraulika Sp. Zoo established in Szczecin Poland.

2012 PMC Hydranor Norway acquired.

Energy

• Hydraulics for wind-power generators and hydroelectric power stations, biofuel plants, etc.

• Energy-efficient solutions for stable, long-term energy production with minimum maintenance demand.

• For hydroelectric power plants, PMC manufactures and delivers hydraulics for turbines, sluice gates, valve operating systems, etc.

• PMC is the world leader in pitch-control hydraulics for wind power.

• PMC is also actively involved in development projects for solar energy and wave power production. PMC Windsyn is our concept for

hydraulics and lubrication in wind-power applications.

Offshore & Marine

• PMC has solid experience in hydraulic solutions for ships and offshore rigs.

• Elevator systems for ro-ro ships, winch and anchor gear hydraulics, pitch control of bow propellers, operation and control of offshore drilling equipment, ships’ derricks, water-jet propulsion units, cargo hatches, etc.

• PMC operates the largest test facility in Northern Europe to guarantee functionality in marine environments.

Industry

• Hydraulics and lubrication for the mining, mineral, steel, food, sawmilling, pulp and paper industries.

• Examples include cylinders and hydraulic systems for heavy-duty industrial presses and compacters, central lubrication, loading and discharging equipment for the mining industry, and paper and packaging machines.

• Systems for hydrostatic bearings, cooling of gearboxes and electric motors, and gear lubrication.

• Electromechanical systems for ramps, X-ray equipment, paper machines, etc.

PMC Lubetech is a concept for hydraulic lubrication of all moving parts in tube mills.

Mobile Systems

• PMC supplies hydraulic and lubrication systems, components, and cylinders to many of the world’s leading manufacturers of working vehicles, construction and logging equipment, agricultural machinery, earthmovers, trucks, cranes and mining and drilling equipment.

• Aircraft tugs, ship unloaders, garbage compaction systems, tilters for train sets and various types of lubrication systems likewise incorporate hydraulics from PMC.

PMC develops compact solutions for mobile units such as hydraulic valve systems integrated into blocks.
