Forestrall Limited operates an up to date delivery fleet that fully complieswith the Low Emission Zone regulations in and around the London area.The company is also one of the few Chain of Custody Approved timbermerchants, committed to supporting the Timber Trade Federation’sgovernment‐backed “Responsible Purchasing Policy.” As such, it is wellplaced to service any Government funded projects and can offer FSC andPEFC approved timber and sheet materials.

Environmental Policy Statement

Forestrall Ltd is an independent Timber Merchant that purchases and sellsSoftwood, Hardwood and Sheet Materials.

The company has implemented a Chain of Custody procedure to ensure compliance with boththe Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of ForestCertification (PEFC). As part of this system it is the policy of Forestrall Ltd to avoid using woodthat has been illegally harvested, wood from genetically modified trees, timber fromthreatened high conservation value old‐growth forests and wood harvested from forestswhere traditional and civil rights are violated. Additionally the buying department will rejectany wood‐based products which derive from natural forests that have been converted toplantations.

Management will be responsible for implementing this policy and maintaining our chain ofcustody certification to the highest level. If it is demonstrated that the Company is usingwood from such illegal sources, we will promptly take appropriate actions, including ceasingpurchasing from such sources for products covered by this policy.

We will work closely with all our suppliers to encourage greater use of certified timber sothat our continual improvement programme of introducing more certified products can besustained. On some product lines where certified material is as yet unavailable, we willcontinue to seek alternative sources or work with the supplying company to encourage theimplementation of their own chain of custody.

Forestrall Ltd will work with our certification body to ensure that all criteria required by theFSC and the PEFC are met and that any non‐conformances are corrected without delay.
