• If baptizing makes the cross of no effect – then Paul made the cross of no effect when he baptized anyone.

• Had Paul baptized in his own name, he would have made the cross of no effect!!!

• Those who want to use this passage to nullify the necessity of water baptism contradict Matt. 28:19 in their interpretation.
