The benefits of the plug-and-play principle are apparent everywhere: No more cutting to length, stripping and threading into terminals: gesis® system components are industrially pre-assembled and tested. Everything fits perfectly, and only needs to be plugged together on site. gesis® is the standard for safe and error-free installation.

The gesis® system comprises connectors, radiocontrolled switching units, devices for decentralized building automation and pluggable distribution boxes for state-of-the-art facility management, cables, and busbar and low voltage systems.

gesis® CON is the ingenious principle for building installation technology – in high-rise buildings just as in family homes, and from the basement to the roof. The unique variety of more than 5,000 components offers solutions for any kind of electrical installation.

Wieland gesis® 3 & 5 pole connection solutions provide a fast and flexible connection system. 50-70% reduced labour cost per installation providing power and control to lighting and power directly from the switch.

This unique 3 & 5 pole installation, provides all the advantages of a true plug & play solution required for lighting and power designers and end users in modern buildings. All required components can be configured to suit any typical lighting or power installation.

WHAT IS PLUG & PLAY?

With the Wieland gesis® connection system, connections can be made without tools simply by plugging in.

Single or multiple lights can be mixed and matched from the same switch. This provides a total solution for all lighting and power connections.

This Plug & Play system provides the latest German lighting and power connection technology for designers, installers, builders and end users.

Plug & Play Domestic Wiring Solution


WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?

» Power and control in a single 3 & 5 pole solution allows for effective connection and installation of light fittings, switches and power outlets.

» Scalable and flexible, can be expanded or reduced to suit any installation requirements.

» Light fittings are supplied with pre-terminated cables, so Plug & Play.

» Mechanical stability provides easy, fast and safe connections.

» The multi pole distribution blocks allows for multiple connections, reducing the number of components required per circuit.

» No termination or segregation is required. This enables easy connection of luminaires and switches for any installation.

» Pre-wired connections save installation time, eliminating wire errors and significantly reducing labour costs.

» Coded connections ensure correct polarity.

» Components can be reused or added to at any time.

» Inter connection leads come in 1m to 8m lengths in steps of 1m.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Only Teubel Meter and Distribution Boards are to be used for Plug & Play Domestic Wiring System. Each Distribution Board is prewired and fitted with LS Switchgear.

All cable is made to NZ colour codes AS/NZ standard with each lead tested and approved.
