A LITTLE TOWN OF JAPAN-TAIJI

1/3 of population of taiji is living by fishing dolphins, and Fishing whale has a 400 years history long in Taiji of Japan as a culture. They created their own way to fish dolphin.

Year after year, thousands of dolphin will be cathched. Some of them are sold to The Sea world or dolphinariums by $150,000 each, and rest of them are inhumanely massacred, and their meat will sold to market by $600/each.

BECAUSE OF INDUSTRIAL POLLUTION PROBLEM, AND THE DOLPHIN AS TOP OF THE OCEAN BIOLOGIC CHAIN, ITS MEAT IS HEAVILY LACED WITH MERCURY WHICH IS THE MOST TOXIC, NON-RADIOACTIVE ELEMENTS ON EARTH.

The recommended total level of mercury in seafood in Japan is 0.4 ppm (Parts per million), but dolphin meat contains 2000 ppm.

The dolphin meat are in the market everywhere, and many of dolphin meat will be sold as other whale meat. Government just cover the truth from people for profitable purpose.

From September to next April, fisher use a their own way to drive dolphins into the cove, and fishers use billhooks, reaping hook, or other speculate tools to hack, stab or kill dolphins
