A sun–kissed day is all you need to discover the beau-ty of this mountain: strong and comforting at the sametime, powerful yet sweet.Open your eyes to the white spectacle stretching outin front of you: a pleasant slope unfurling at your feet, reminding you of the white topped peak of a Christmaspudding. There, in the distance, you’ll see Kronplatz–Plande Corones. 2,275 metres altitude with a 360° view allover the valley.Once on the peak, just look around to see the real beau-ty, the silence of these open valleys and long slopes.Legend has it that Princess Dolasilla was crowned inthis exact spot. The most thrilling and demanding slopes

give way to the easier ones. Renowned names, such asSylvester, Hernegg, Olang and Furcia rush by you andsplit into so many different slopes: 5 slopes for 5 differ-ent towns, where the oldest Ladin traditions were born. From Concordia bell at the top of the mountain, you canreach Riscone (Brunico), San Vigilio di Marebbe, Valdaora,Piculin and Perca. The “Piculin” cable car and the shuttle services allow youto reach the other 130 km of superb slopes in Alta Badia. The completion of the Versciaco train station acts as a linkbetween the Val Pusteria “Kronplatz–Plan de Corones”and the “Sextner Dolomiten–Alta Pusteria” ski carousels, making an incredibly beautiful single ski carousel.

L DI FASSA

CAREZZA

The ancient villages of Vigo, Pozza, Campitello, Moena,Soraga and the frescoes on the houses of Canazei wel-come you to the Val di Fassa/Carezza skiing carousel, which stretches out until Eggental and to the CarezzaLake. In the old days, a wood nymph used to hide here; this iswhere you can find the end of the rainbow, which brokeinto a thousand pieces, falling into the small lake and col-ouring it with manifold hues, making it a rarity for youreyes to behold. The legend also chronicles the magic of the imposing

Latemar massif, which uses the lake as a mirror. A para-dise for families, kids and skiers looking for flat and softslopes. “Between sky, snow and peaks” you can embarkon a panoramic tour starting from the Catinaccio andBuffaure, passing by Ciampac until the Belvedere PassoPordoi.Three beautiful skiing areas which are waiting just foryou. And, as though that weren’t enough, the Col Rodellais the door to the legendary Sellaronda tour and to the500 km of connected slopes nearby.

The cable car ride itself is simply breathtaking and slowsdown your thoughts, leaving everyone speechless. We can but bow to her Majesty the Marmolada, Queen ofthe Dolomites, the highest peak of the Dolomiti Superski,as well as the most imposing glacier in northern Italy. It was witness to the WWI fights and, today, this ancientborder is an outdoor museum and awaits for the arrivalof winter sport enthusiasts. From the 3,200 metres of Punta Rocca you can see allthe mountains which surround it, from the Sella Group tothe Pale di San Martino. And from its top you can facethe 12 downhill km along the mountain side belonging to

the province Belluno. You can take your physical prowessto the next level and ski uninterrupted or stopping fromtime to time and observe nature untouched in this car-ousel dedicated to the lovers of altitude and mountainsilences. The other side is just as beautiful, with Porta Vescovoand the Padon, the most loved by expert skiers, onwhich you can quickly reach the soft sides of the Burzand Cherz. These, together with the facilities taking youto the Pordoi, lead directly to the Sellaronda circuit andthe 500 km of slopes of the areas nearby.

OBEREGGEN

Sunshine, snow, jazz and relax. Give the Obereggensnowpark a try, or a Dolomite slope at the Latemar SkiCentre, or a sunset ride on a slope at Bellamonte, a nightski on the Cermis mountain. Under the March sun, theNew Orleans jazz wafts its way across white scenes inthe ‘Dolomiti Ski Jazz’.After all, the slopes snake their way across thickets oftrees which are veritable musical forests: the ‘violin for-ests’ aren’t called that way for nothing.Ski across the carousel of the Ski Center Latemar,46 km between Pampeago, Predazzo and Obereggen, and in the ski area Bellamonte–Alpe Lusia, coasting thePaneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park.

You can ski on the Rolle Pass, looking up towards thePale di San Martino. From the Alpe Cermis, beyond thelong Olimpia slopes (7.5 km) you can enjoy one of themost beautiful Dolomite panoramas. Other scenarios onthe legendary mountains include the Passo di Lavazè-Oclini, where alpine skiing meets cross-country skiing.Small guests can have fun in the ski-kindergarten!The ‘0 km’ restaurants belonging to the ‘Tradition andTaste’ club unite the secrets of the most refined Italiancuisine to genuine mountain tastes and dishes.Even the slightly less refined menus are a constant sur-prise in other huts, which you can also enjoy at dinner, after a moonlight snow walk.

PERFECT HARMONY BETWEEN SPORT,NATURE AND TRADITION.

TREVALLI

The ancient Tabià, typical wooden barns, are the embod-iment of what makes Moena, Falcade and Passo SanPellegrino so special: a welcoming warmth and roman-tic feel seep through the wooden structures but at thesame time you can’t help but notice how they exude amodern je ne sais quoi.Take the ‘lover’s trail’, for example, which goes hand inhand with the 3 thrilling snowparks and the exclusive, freeriding trail of Col Margherita. The sun–kissed Costabella chair lift is ideal when takingone of the most thrilling slopes from Cima Uomo, and

the Ronchi–Valbona–Le Cune chair lift will take you tothe Alpe Lusia and its magical slopes. A modern winterfairy tale where you’ll find peace, sport and relaxation inequal measure. 100 km of slopes in the Trevalli carouselawait only you.The ‘Emotion Tour’ will warm the cockles of your heartin ancient mountain huts and light forests, while ontop of the 2,500 m of Col Margherita, the unique pan-orama opens wide–open and will leave you breathless:Marmolada, Monte Civetta, the Monzoni Group and theFocobon offer all their beauties.
