In order to comprehend (understand) what you read, your mind needs to do many things as you read.

One of the things your mind does as you read is find details in sentences. In fact your English exam always has a number of questions that require you to find details. What is a detail? Read on.


Before you can learn to find details in sentences you read, you will need to understand the meaning of these question words:

A simple sentence in English can be made up of six parts – not words!
