Mada (Qatar Assistive Technology Center) is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people with disabilities to the world of information and communication technology. Mada was established by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR) in June 2010

MADA – who are we ?

People with a disability in Qatar will have access to information and communications technology through assistive technologies, with resources, services, and the support that they require to make life, learning, and employment easier, smarter and better.

What is Assistive Technology (AT) ?Assistive technology is any item, piece of equipment, software or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities. (Cook & Hussey, 1995)
