• 5-12 yrs Local Judo Club (Machi Dojo) 2-3hrs 2-4 x p/w

• 13-15 yrs School club 1hr before 2-4hrs after @ week day 2-4hrs, 1-2 x p/day every weekend

• 16-18 School Club Repeat of above . . .

• 18+ University (Seiki juku) 1hr before breakfast, 3hrs am, 2-3hrs evening weekend 1hr pre breakfast, 5hrs am, 3hrs evening

• Retirement / Retainment

• All Jnr High School Championships 13-15 yrs old

• Inter High School Championships (Individual) 16-18 yrs old They have to get 1st place in their prefecture to enter .(47 prefectures in Japan)

• All High School Championships (Teams) 16-18 yrs old

• All Japan Jnr Championships 15-20 yrs old

How to enter:They have to get 1st place in their region to enter.

Drawbacks - Future Research

• BREAKS PLAYERS MENTALLY

• Players not allowed to take water during training

• Deaths During training

• An investigative studying into adopting a regime similar to gymnastics into judo ie: morning training etc to build training hours

• Longitudinal study with under fives doing recommended training regime
