Introduction Initially, Renee Kershaw, manager employed by BSB, Inc. is wondering to expand the business in the university in Southeast. BSB, Inc is a large nationally operated food services company serving the corporate, airlines and university or college. The president of the university has announced that a new food court will be constructed in very soon in the future in the campus. It permits Dunkin Donuts (selling donuts), Taco Bell (selling Mexican-style fast food) and Pizza Huts (selling pizza) to operate in that new facility. After she conducted a survey, she found out that the students are not satisfied with the food provided in their campus. They figure out that the lack of variety food and the tight and erratic schedule which unable them to dine in on the restaurant operating time. So she decided to expand the pizza-making operation which located at the grill in the campus. The business not only a greater variety pizza but also provided delivery service in campus. The well-trained employees are an essential for the business. The standard pizza is ready in advance with the limited topping. The result was quite good at the beginning of the operation period together with the high satisfaction from the customers. Facility flexibility of the pizza making also seen in this business. Finally, the demand started to decrease as the existing capacity is unable to cope and indirectly delay the delivery time to the students. The taste of students also had change; they request pizza topping which not available in the menu. Now, she is wondering whether the decrease in pizza sales is affected by the off-campus pizza wars.
