Oxidizing agents are chemical compounds that readily accept electrons from

“electron donors.” They gain electrons via chemical reaction. This is

important because relative to chlorine dioxide, all pathogens and heavy

metals are electron donors. Once those electrons are gone, the pathogens

and heavy metals cease to be a problem and are reduced to waste materials.

Chlorine dioxide is approved by the Environmental Protection Agency in

safely removing pathogens and contaminates like anthrax.

The “Water Purification Drops” are 28% sodium chlorite in distilled water.

MMS is principally a water treatment product. MMS (28% sodium chlorite),

when mixed with a suitable activator produces chlorine dioxide. Chlorinedioxide is proven to be one of the most powerful pathogen killers known to

Chlorine dioxide is used primarily (>95%) for

bleaching of wood pulp, but is also used for the bleaching of flour and for the

disinfection of municipal drinking water. The New York water treatment plant

first used chlorine dioxide for drinking water treatment in 1944.

Chlorine dioxide was introduced as a drinking water disinfectant on a large

scale in 1956, when Brussels, Belgium, changed from chlorine to chlorine

dioxide.

Chlorine dioxide is used in many industrial water treatment applications as a

biocide including process water and food processing. Chlorine dioxide is lesscorrosive than chlorine and superior for the control of Legionella bacteria.

Chlorine dioxide is far superior to copper-silver ionization for Legionella

control because unlike copper-silver ionization, chlorine dioxide is:

1) an EPA approved biocide, 2) not negatively impacted by pH and 3) does

not lose efficacy over time because the bacteria grow resistant to the biocide.

It is more effective as a disinfectant than chlorine in most circumstances

against water borne pathogenic microbes such as viruses, bacteria and

protozoa – including the cysts of Giardia and the oocytes of Cryptosporidium.

It can also be used for air disinfection, and was the principal agent used in

the decontamination of buildings in the United States after then 2001 anthrax

attacks. After the disaster of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana and

the surrounding Gulf Coast, chlorine dioxide has been used to eradicate

dangerous mold from houses inundated by water from massive flooding.

Stabilized chlorine dioxide can also be used in an oral rinse to treat oral

disease and malodor.

Chlorine dioxide is a chemical compound that consists of one chlorine ion

bound to two ions of oxygen. Using the MMS protocol, you will produce

chlorine dioxide in the range of 1ppm.

The MMS solution is 28% sodium chlorite in distilled water. You can produce

chlorine dioxide with a single drop, when an “activator” of vinegar, lemon

juice, or a 10% solution of citric acid is added.

“Applications” of chlorine dioxide range from 1 drop to a maximum of 15. A

“maintenance application” is six drops, with ½ teaspoon (30 drops) of

activator added. After adding the activator, the chemical reaction that turns

sodium chlorite into chlorine dioxide takes only three minutes.

The activating ingredient in vinegar that makes the change possible is acetic

acid. This weak acid acts like a blasting cap by lowering the pH of the

chlorine dioxide, without setting it off. The natural pH of sodium chlorite is 13.

Adding vinegar, lime/lemon juice, or citric acid creates about 3 mg of

unstable but still harmless chlorine dioxide.

When a chlorine dioxide ion contacts a harmful pathogen in a 'water system',

it instantly rips up to five electrons from the pathogen, in what can be likened

to a microscopic explosion… harmless to us, but terminal for pathogens in

our water. The pathogen – an electron donor – is rendered harmless due to

the involuntary surrendering of its electrons to the chlorine dioxide – an

electron acceptor – and the resulting release of energy. Oxidised by the

chlorine ion, the former pathogen becomes a harmless salt.

Once it encounters various pathogens in 'water systems', chlorine dioxide

performs a highly energetic acceptance of four electrons when it comesacross any cell that is below a pH value of 7. This means that diseased cells

are essentially vaporised (i.e., “oxidised”) while healthy cells are unaffected.

Background info:

Hypochlorous acid is an acid that the human immune system uses to killpathogens of all kinds throughout the body, and many other things that

sometimes need to be destroyed. For example when killer cells get old and

worn out they turn against the body; the immune system recognizes the

problem and proceeds to destroy the worn-out cells with hypochlorous acid.

So what is it? As far as an antibiotic is concerned, it kills pathogens instantly

What chemical turns to hypochlorous acid like that in the human body?

Hold on to your hat. It's a special type of swimming ----- pool ----- chlorine.

Well, that's what everybody calls it - swimming pool chlorine. BUT it is really

not chlorine. It's a special agent that is used to "shock" the pool, called

CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE.

People are used to being told that you shock a pool with chlorine, but that's

not really the scientific facts. It's easy to explain this way. The scientific facts

are that no free chlorine is added to the pool. The pool is in fact shocked with

hypochlorous acid.

That's right, when it is put into pool water or drinking water, it instantlychanges into hypochlorous acid. It's not the same as chlorine in water; not at

all. Other chemicals change into chlorine, but not calcium hypochlorite. It

changes into HOCl (that's the chemical formula for hypochlorous acid).

It is a combination of hydrogen, oxygen, and chlorine. Like table salt it also

has chlorine in it, but it reacts far differently than chlorine.

There are always other chemicals in the mixture. The other chemicals are all

designed for use in pools so they are not poisonous and most of them are

used in foods or processing foods. You only take a tiny bit of the white

powder to purify your drinking water and thus you never get more than therecommended daily dose of any of these chemicals.

Chemically it is obvious that hypochlorous acid can kill pathogens as that has

already been proven. By the time you have finished studying the data it will

be totally obvious what this acid can do.

Many nay-sayers are going to find it a little bit more difficult to spread



negative information about MMS2.

MMS2, is a capsule-based product. It contains Calcium Hypochlorite or

Ca(ClO)2.

When it comes into contact with water, it immediately becomes hypochlorous

acid.

Water Purification with MMS2: Using MMS2 to purify drinking water: Adding

the contents of one MMS2 capsule to 50 litres of water will kill most known

pathogens. Leave the water for at least 30 minutes before drinking.
