This will be third such symposium after the success-

ful ones in 2008 and 2010 (which were then called as

Research Scholars Confluence - RSC). As knowl-

edge sharing is very important for research, a seam-

less interaction with peer level researchers and pro-

fessionals is desirable. With this motivation, RSAS is

being planned with an extended scope whereby re-

search scholars from other institutes will be invited

to participate in it so that research scholars commu-

nity gets connected and grows collectively.

Objectives Provide an opportunity for research scholars to

get inspired from experiences of PhD Alumni.

    Encourage interaction between research schol-

    ars from various institutes.

Offer a platform for showcasing doctoral re-search being carried out at IIT Bombay and

    other institutes.

Bridge gaps between academia and industry for

    productive and applied research.

neurial career directions after PhD.Thereby promoting collective reflection on research

endeavors and their role in betterment of society.

Last date for registration (without abstract): 22-02-

    2014

    Call for abstract

We invite abstracts in all science and engineering

disciplines for RSAS-2014. A smarter way of con-

solidating ideas in research is to interact with peers.

RSAS provides such an opportunity to express, ab-sorb and discuss ideas with experienced industrial-

ists, academicians and other eminent researchers, and

to broaden the network in your research domain as

well as in allied fields. It will be a platform to show-

case your research and get feedback on it from a

    wider scientific community.

Registration without abstract submission is based on

    first come first serve basis.

    No fee for registration.

Abstracts will be shortlisted by a review committee

    consisting of faculty members.
