1.01 PROJECT INFORMATION
A. Project Name: RFP# 21-2203, Avoca Elementary School Roof Replacement.
B. Owner: Bristol Tennessee City Schools.
C. Architect: BarberMcMurry Architects.
D. Architect Project Number: 208500.
E. Date of Addendum: 19 April 2021.
1.02 NOTICE TO BIDDERS
A. This Addendum is issued to all registered plan holders pursuant to the Instructions to Bidders. This Addendum serves to clarify, revise, and supersede information in the Project Manual, Drawings, and previously issued Addenda. Portions of the Addendum affecting the Contract Documents will be incorporated into the Contract by enumeration of the Addendum in the Owner/Contractor Agreement.
B. The Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the appropriate space on the Bid Form.
C. The date for receipt of bids is unchanged by this Addendum, at same time and location. 1. Bid Date: 22 April 2021. 2. Bid Time: 2:00 PM local time. 3. Location: Bristol Tennessee City Schools, 615 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard,
Bristol, TN 37620.

1.04 REVISIONS TO DIVISIONS 02 – 49 SPECIFICATION SECTIONS
A. Specification Section 07 54 19 – Polyvinyl-Chloride (PVC) Roofing, not reissued. 1. Refer to Article 2.03 – Roof Insulation. The existing structure is flat. Tapered
insulation is to be provided to product slopes indicated with a minimum insulation thickness of 3 inches.
2. Refer to Article 3.03 – Insulation Installation, Paragraph G. All layers of insulation may be fastened in lieu of adhered provided the wind uplift resistance requirements are met.

Provide downspouts 5 by 5 inches in the same locations as the existing downspouts to be replaced. Connect downspouts to existing storm sewer system.
