B: I am reporter of Britain’s Got Talent. Let’s meet sb. here. Hello!
Susan: Hello, how are you doing?
B: I’m going well. What’s your name?
Susan: My name is Susan Boyle. I’m going to sing for you on
Britain’s Got Talent today.
B: A little nervous?
Susan: Yeah Sure!
B: That’s not surprising. Tell me more about yourself.
Susan: At the moment I have on my own with my cat called
Pebbles. I’ve never been married, never been kissed. Oh shame!
But it’s not and advert.
B: have you done this for many a year?
Susan:Since I was twelve
Susan: I have always wanted to perform in front of large
audience. I’m going to make that audience ROCK!

Simon: Hi, what’s your name, darling?
Susan: My name is Susan Boyle
Simon: OK, Susan where are you from?
Susan: I’m from Blackburn near Bathgate west Lothian
Simon: It’s a big town?
Susan: It’s a sort of a collection of , a collection of eh,
villages! had to think there
Simon: And how old are you Susan?
Susan: I’m 47 and that’s just one side of me

Simon: OK what’s the dream?
Susan: I’m trying to be a professional singer
Simon: And why hasn’t it worked out so far Susan?
Susan: I haven’t been giving the chance before. But
here’s hoping it will change?
Simon: Who would you like to be as successful as?
Susan: Elaine Paige
Piers: what are you going to sing today?
Susan: I’m going to sing I Dreamed A Dream from Les
Miserabies.
Piers: OK big song!

Simon: hello!
Piers: come back here, wait, wait!
Piers: Alright, thank you very much Susan. Without a doubt that is
the biggest surprise I have had in my three years on the show.
When you stood there with that cheeky grin and said “I want to be
like Elaine Paige” and everyone was laughing at you, no one is
laughing now! that was Stunning! An incredible performance.
Amazing! I’m reeling from shock. What about you, Amanda?
Amanda: I’m so thrilled because I know everybody was against
you, I honestly think we have all being very cynical and that’s the
biggest wake-up call ever, and I just want to say it was a complete
privilege. Listening to that!

Simon: Susan I knew the minute you walk out (laughter)
on the stage that we were going to hear something
extraordinary and I was right. Susan, you are a little tiger,
aren’t you?
Susan: I don’t know that.
Simon: You are ,OK, moment of truth. Piers, Yes or No?
Piers: the biggest YES I have ever given anybody
Simon: Amanda?
Amanda: yes, definitely.
Simon: Susan Boyle you can go back to your village
with your head held high. It’s three yeses.
