INDUSTRY PROVEN! Coke Particulate Filtration Package

Pressure Containment• ASME Section VIII, Division

1 code stamped pressurevessel

Closure• Through bolted closure

combines safety with easeof maintenance

Maintainability $• Filter pack mounted to top

closure for easyreplacement

Longevity $• Extended filtration surface area

requires fewer backflushcycles

Inspection Friendly• Pad-less nozzle design

allows straight forwardnozzle weld inspection

Low Pressure Drop $• Channeled outside-in flow

has a low clean and dirtypressure drop at maximumflow

Back-flush $• The FC series filtration

package has a low volumeback flush requirement

Flexibility• Patented Filtration Pack

efficiently filters sponge, shot orneedle coke particulate

Functional Vessel• Vessel to filter pack

clearance strategicallydesigned to evenlydistribute the process flow

Depressurization Safety• Rodable vent connection to

ensure completedepressureization

Longer Catalyst Life $• Reduced coke contamination

of the catalyst

Lower Operating Costs $• Reduced down time for

catalyst regeneration

$ DO THE MATH! $

The FC Series filtration package is designed to filter particulate from theheavy coker gas oil before entering the catalytic cracker. This effectivelyextends the life of the catalyst and reduces catalyst regeneration cycles.

Large Blowdown• Large blowdown opening to

maximize particulate removal

Reduced Down Time and Lower Maintenance Cost

Customization• Designed and build to

process specifics for therequired flows and micronretainage

Integrated Flow Solutions (IFS), formerlyFlowtronex International, specializes in the designand manufacture of prefabricated modular systemsfor a variety of industries. Founded in 1979 as anoutgrowth of the pump distribution business, IFSbegan serving the oil and gas market, then expanded into turf grass (Flowtronex/PSI), power andgeneral industrial. In 2002, Flowtronex/PSI and thebrand, “Flowtronex” was sold to ITT. IFS was born.

The Company

IFS’ strengths begin at the design/engineering phaseand continue through start-up. Here is how.

The ProductsIFS’ products serve the Oil & Gas, Power, Emissions, and General Industrial markets. IFS has designedunique industry “Site Maps” to communicate typicalprocess flow and the products manufactured by IFS.

About IFSSales/ApplicationsIFS sales and applications staff reviews each customerinquiry in detail. In many cases, proposals providealternate solutions to a customer’s application incorporating IFS’ knowledge and experience.Typical proposals also include similar project generalarrangement drawings, process and instrument diagrams (p&id), and photos. Equipment installationlists are also available.

Engineering/DesignIFS specializes in system design, engineering, component selection, and modular construction tomeet various customer specifications and coderequirements unique to each industry. Competentproject management, engineering, and design arekey to any successful project. IFS maintains each ofthese disciplines in-house to ensure projects are executed properly.

Tyler, Texas: With 100,000 square feet under roof, theseven acre facility has ten overhead cranes (including two 25ton) and a 26 foot hook height.

Oil & Gas Site Map: Outlines the typical process flow of anoil & gas production facility (IFS products shown in blue).

IFS sales/applications staff reviewing customer inquiry.Common industry standards and IFS past experience arecommon sources for improved customer solutions.

Product SupportIFS realizes the importance of supplying customerswith superior product support and timely field serviceafter the sale. IFS combines in-house support withindependent service providers to address the specifictrouble area.

Product Support Notes (PSN) DatabaseIFS maintains a Product Support Notes Database toensure prompt accurate technical phone support. Thedocumentation process begins the moment a customer order is received. Everything from customerspecifications to shipping photos is maintained in theProduct Support Notes Database.

AutomationIFS knows that the proper integration of automationand controls with packaged mechanical equipment isimportant. IFS understands the process requirementsto design and supply the best controls for the job. From microprocessors monitoring and controlling thesimplest functions to PLC’s incorporating controlfunctions outside IFS supplied packaged equipment, automation is a large part of IFS’ added value.

FabricationIFS’ fabrication and manufacturing are managed ona seven (7) acre facility with 100,000 square feetunder roof. With ten (10) overhead cranes (2-25 tonwith 26’ hook height), extremely large modular systems can be accommodated. An indoor grit blastfacility and indoor duplex paint booth ensure qualitypreparation and coating while maintaining scheduledshipments.
